Announcing Voyage 5.0: A Rewarding Journey with Dfyn Exchange

A journey is only as memorable as the ones we travel with.

At Router Protocol, we are driven by the singular purpose of building an interoperable blockchain ecosystem. A utopia where every blockchain network can seamlessly communicate with each other, where every developer can deploy dApps on multiple chains, and where the complete Web 3.0 ecosystem is inclusive for every user.

To realize this vision, our prodigious team of developers is already deploying a comprehensive suite of cross-chain capable offerings. However, to achieve this goal, we do recognize the need to popularise and subsequently normalize the concept of cross-chain communication. In an attempt to achieve just that, earlier this year, we initiated a series of incentivized cross-chain campaigns called Voyage.

Over the past four editions, Voyage has evolved from just a competition to a gateway for adding thousands of new members to our tribe of #voyagers, surpassing over $180 million in trading volume, and building multiple key relationships with other Web 3.0 projects like Perpetual Protocol and Arbitrum.

And now, we are proud to announce the launch of Voyage 5.0 with Dfyn.

The data for this contest will be collected from the timeframe of July 11th, 2 PM UTC to August 10th, 2022, at 2 PM UTC.

Competition Details

Not unlike its predecessors, Voyage 5.0 is divided into 2 parts.

Part 1: Piece of the Pie

For this part of the contest, we have a prize pool of 1000 $ROUTE that would be equally distributed between all eligible participants.

Here are the guidelines for eligibility:

You should have swapped any crypto assets on Dfyn with a total trading volume of more than $100 within the aforementioned timeframe. You can check whether or not you have satisfied this criterion here.

Perform one cross-chain swap on Dfyn’s cross-chain widget (any-chain-to-any-chain) between 2 PM UTC on August 10th, 2022, and 2 PM UTC on August 17th, 2022.
Fill out this form with your wallet address and TG handle.

At 2 PM UTC, August 10th, 2022, we will take a snapshot of Dfyn users and get the list of winners through it.

Note: Please note that only the users who have swapped on Dfyn while keeping the gasless mode turned off will be eligible.

Part 2: Winner Takes All

For this part, contestants will be ranked in terms of volume traded using Dfyn’s cross-chain widget between 2 PM UTC on August 10th, 2022, and 2 PM UTC on August 17th, 2022. All cross-chain transactions (from any-chain-to-any-chain) will be considered for this campaign.

The prize pool of 100,000 $DFYN and 1000 $ROUTE will be distributed amongst the top 5 contestants with the following distribution:

First Position: 35,000 $DFYN + 350 $ROUTE
Second Position: 25,000 $DFYN + 250 $ROUTE
Third Position: 20,000 $DFYN + 200 $ROUTE
Fourth Position: 10,000 $DFYN + 100 $ROUTE
Fifth Position: 10,000 $DFYN + 100 $ROUTE

To maintain continuous transparency, we also have a dynamic leaderboard that will track the statistics of all users and subsequently rank them based on their trading volume on Dfyn’s widget.

Note: Like previous Voyages, any transaction above the $30K limit will not be indexed in the results, i,e., will not be counted towards the trading volume. Through this step, we are not discouraging the use of bots, but merely trying to level the playing field.

Future Competitions

At Router Protocol, we never slow down when it comes to conducting activities that will engage our community and further the development and adoption of the cross-chain ecosystem. In a span of less than 3.5 months, this is our fifth edition of Voyage, and we are not looking to stop any time soon. We have multiple lucrative contests lined up.
