A little more on STONE before we start talking -
When you stake ETH via StakeStone you get STONE.
STONE is a non-rebase ERC-20 token, which means its value in ETH will increase as a result of the accumulated ETH staking yields.
At the time of writing this, 1 STONE equals 1.0183 ETH.
For example, if user A deposited 100 ETH for 100 STONE, and one year later, the value of 1 STONE becomes 1.04 ETH, the user can withdraw 104 ETH from StakeStone with 100 STONE.
When a user bridges STONE to Scroll, they can be part of StakeStone’s Omnichain Carnival and Scroll Sessions, earning StakeStone points and Scroll Marks!

Stake ETH on Scroll via StakeStone Adapter Seamlessly and Earn Multiple Rewards!
StakeStone is an omnichian liquidity infrastructure. StakeStone issues STONE, the omnichain yield-bearing ETH, which taps into multiple underlying assets, including ETH staking and restaking.
The demand for omnichain LST protocols and yield bearing ETH is off the charts. Why?
Individual stakers are out there, hungry for risk-free staking returns, and emerging blockchains are desperate for ample ETH liquidity to cover the opportunity cost of not staking directly on Ethereum.

- Bridge ETH from Base to Ethereum
- Stake ETH on StakeStone
- Get STONE and bridge it to Scroll
And, of course, Alex needs to identify the optimal path(s) (in a non-StakeStone Adapter world) for the best returns, which translates to:
- Multiple platforms
- Multiple signings
- Multiple approvals
- Multiple transactions

The StakeStone POC enables Alex or any one of us to come from any chain, holding any token to start staking and getting STONE on Scroll — on a single interface, in a single click.
The application abstracts away all the complexities for the user. If it’s better to stake ETH on StakeStone Ethereum contracts and then bridge the minted STONE, that’s what the application will do.
And, if it’s better to do a direct cross-chain swap, then that’s what it’ll do.
Our intent application will optimize for the user’s return for any given request.
And the added advantage is the Nitro carrots (because Nitro is used as the underlying bridge).
