Carrots on Router Nitro are your reward points and are used to access various rewards and benefits within the Router Nitro system. Here’s how you collect them -

Bridge Transactions: Every time you complete a bridge transaction with Router Nitro, you earn Carrots. It’s straightforward: the more you transact, the more Carrots you gather.
Referral Bonus: Invite friends to Router Nitro and get rewarded with 500 Carrots for each one who joins. The best part? No cap exists — the more friends you bring on board, the more Carrots you earn.
Ecosystem Rewards: Don’t just accumulate your Carrots; use them! These rewards aren’t mere tokens for keeping; they’re keys to unlocking even more exciting benefits within the Router ecosystem.

Carrots Accumulation Opportunities

Retrospective Carrots Airdrop

Users who conducted over eight cross-chain transactions on Li.Fi, Bungee, Stargate, and Across (minimum TX value of >$50) between January 1st, 2023, and December 31st, 2023, are eligible for a one-time airdrop of 3000 Carrots.

Further, there is a Carrots Airdrop allocation for users of Router testnet products (Nitro, Texchange, Rabbit Rush, Ping Pong, Sandbox, and Mandara NFT minters), Voyager mainnet users, early signup wallets on Router Nitro, and those who have been active on the Router Nitro mainnet since its launch.

Please note that every user would need to complete 1 additional transaction on Router Nitro (after the launch of the Rewards module) to claim their respective Carrots Airdrop.

One-time Participation Carrots

New users receive Carrots for their first transaction (minimum TX value of $100), with the amount decreasing over time from the launch date. The initial reward is 1000 Carrots, scaling down to 250 Carrots after 60 days.

Please note that the one-time Participation Carrots Program is only available for the first few months post the Router Nitro Reward System launch and can be phased out in the future.

Transaction Carrots

Transaction Carrots are carrots awarded based on the dollar value of each transaction; for example, if a user has completed <=$100 worth of transaction on Router Nitro, they will receive 10 Transaction Carrots as a reward for their activity.

For the initial 30 days, users will earn double the Carrots on their transactions. For example, a user will get 20 Transaction Carrots for <=$100 worth of transaction during the first 30 days of the launch.

Similarly, from day 30 to day 60, users will earn 1.5 times the Carrots on their transactions.

Generate Your Referral Link: After your first transaction, you’ll get a referral link to share with friends.

Referral Rewards:

Earn 50% of the participation Carrots your referral gets after their first transaction.

Important Considerations:

Activity is Key: Keep your account active. If you don’t make a transaction within 2 weeks, your Carrots will decay by 50%.
Maintain Your Balance: Ensure your Carrot balance stays above 100. If it drops to 100 or less, it will reset to zero after the decay period. This mechanism encourages ongoing participation and engagement within the Nitro ecosystem.

A Step-by-Step Guide to Earning Carrots

Step 1: Make your first transaction on Router Nitro (using app.routernitro.com) and win one-time participation carrots. If you are eligible for any airdrop carrots, they will be credited to your account too after the first TX.

Step 2: Check your Carrots: Once you complete your first transaction, go to the “Rewards” tab, where you will see your “Carrots” credited to your account.

“Carrots Earned” are the total Carrots that a user has earned during their lifetime and are one of the determinant variables in the calculation of future ecosystem privileges. This variable only increases with time as the user does more and more TXs on Router Nitro!

“Carrots Used” are the Carrots that the user has spent for various activities for Rabbit Power up, Weekly Lottery (coming soon), and Wheel of Fortune (coming soon). This also includes the carrots that have decayed in case the user is inactive on Router Nitro for two weeks.
