We’re happy to share that our Tech Updates are evolving into Router Monthly Rewind! These updates will provide a holistic view of key developments and happenings across our ecosystem, offering a quick recap of the past month alongside our daily social media updates.

With that in mind, welcome to the first edition of Router Monthly Rewind — August!

Here’s what you can look forward to–updates on our products like L1 Router Chain, Nitro cross-chain bridge, and Cross-chain Intent Framework. We’ll cover new features, integrations, and the impressive stats we’ve gathered from our cross-chain infrastructure suite.

We’ll also explore highlights/upcoming developments from our ecosystem projects and partners. Plus, we’ll give you the latest on the $ROUTE token and its updates across various exchanges.

Key Highlights

  • After years of hard work, Router Chain is now live on mainnet! 🎉
  • Season 1 of our StakeDrop campaign is on, offering a massive reward pool of up to 13,332,000 $ROUTE, along with exciting ecosystem airdrops–participate now!
  • Router Protocol’s brand-new website is live and ready for you to explore.
  • As of now, 431.68M ROUTE are staked on Router Hub out of which 333.33M are delegated by Router Foundation.
  • Router Protocol mainnet launch featured in CoinDesk, The Block, AlexaBlockchain, CryptoNews, Blockchain Reporter, and many other top publications!

Router Chain Updates

Integrations:

  • Router has partnered with AVAIL to make their token omnichain using Router Chain’s infra.
  • Partnered with OpenWorldSwap, a DEX to leverage Router Chain’s stateful bridging and chain abstraction to build an omnichain DEX that simplifies blockchain interactions and aggregates liquidity across networks.
  • We’ve successfully tested end-to-end Solana integration and have deployed it on the testnet. Audit for the same is also almost complete
  • Solana is now deployed on Alpha and will be moving to testnet soon.
  • DogeChain announced Router Chain as its Canonical Bridge!
  • Gateway and Nitro contracts have been deployed for Vanar Mainnet and are currently in progress.

Updates:

  • We’ve built the initial structure for the CosmWasm batch handler contract, which will enable CCIF Intent Adapter to be built for Cosmos ecosystem.
  • Sui checkpoint has been updated on Router Chain.

In Progress:

  • Conducting time profiling of the forwarder service flow to identify optimization areas.
  • Continuing work on the Sui relayer.
  • Testing BTC mainnet node, currently in the syncing phase.
  • Ongoing development of the CosmWasm batch handler contract.

Statistics

  • Staking is on with the StakeDrop Campaign, 431M+ $ROUTE have been staked till now.
  • Router Chain is launched with 40+ validators making the network decentralised and secure.

Router Nitro Updates

Integrations:

  • Nitro went live on, dZap, a Meta Dex and Bridge Aggregator! dZap has integrated Nitro’s Pathfinder API to enable seamless cross-chain asset transfers for its users.
  • We’ve completed Osmosis sanity testing for Asset Forwarder and DexSpan, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Successfully integrated 5ire Chain Asset Forwarder on mainnet.
  • Wrapped up the final development testing for Solana integration on Asset Forwarder middleware.
  • Asset Bridge Ethereum Migration for USDT support is currently in progress which will enable mint/burn flows to and from ETH.

Updates:

  • Alloyed tokens development is underway:
    - Completed development and testing for Asset Bridge transfers on Osmosis testnet.
    - Mainnet deployment and sanity testing are finished for TRX and USDT for Osmosis.
    - Actively working on Transfer with Instruction development and testing to improve transaction efficiency.
  • Solana audit bug fixes are currently in progress.
  • Displaying Osmosis tokens on our internal UI for external review to gather feedback.
  • Cross-Chain ERC20 deployer contract update is complete, which would enable automation in the creation of omnichain tokens through Router chain. Think of it as factory support for launching and extending omnichain tokens — coming soon!
  • Gas TopUp deployment on Tron has been successfully completed on beta-mainnet which means users will soon be able to get the gas tokens of Tron, TRX when moving their assets to Tron. This will help them to get started in the Tron ecosystem seamlessly.

Like every month, Nitro was in full swing for July as well!

We processed over 121,601 transactions, amounting to an impressive $218 million in volume. Our top destination chains were Scroll, Arbitrum, and Base.

Until now, 387,726 unique users have leveraged Router Nitro for their cross-chain bridging needs, experiencing seamless and efficient transfers.

Cross-chain Intent Framework (CCIF) Updates

Adapter Integrations and Updates

  • StakeStone + X Layer Intent Adapter and API Reference have been successfully completed.
  • Nile Backend Integration is wrapped up and ready to go. Nile is an AMM, designed to serve as Linea’s central liquidity hub and the Nile Adapter enables the abstraction of liquidity addition on the AMM.
  • Parifi Backend integration is complete. Parifi is a decentralized perpetual protocol and the adapter lets users provide liquidity in one click from various chains.
  • Lynex Fusion PoC is currently undergoing testing to ensure seamless cross-chain liquidity deposition functionality on Lynex.
  • Thena Intent Adapter is in progress, with promising developments underway for providing liquidity on Thena, a DEX on BNB.
  • Maverick V2 Backend Integration is also in progress. This adapter is for providing liquidity on Maverick, an AMM operating on four chains including, Ethereum, ZkSync, Base, and BNB.

Ecosystem Projects Update

  • StakeEase Highlights: Mainnet is planned for this month (Ethereum Mainnet and Taiko), and testnet is going strong, live on Taiko Hekla and Holesky. They are planning to launch mainnet soon!
  • FolioX Highlights: FolioX launched a cross-chain naming service, built on top of Router chain–-Tagzz! Make sure you register your Tagzz name.

$ROUTE Updates

  • $ROUTE v2 is now live and trading on AscendEX Exchange, supporting Router Chain, Ethereum, and Polygon

  • You can also use Router Nitro to swap any token from any chain to $ROUTE v2 on available chains.
  • Uni v3 farms on ETH: Coming soon
  • Osmosis liquidity & farms will go live soon and users will be able to do swaps of ROUTE on Osmosis and provide liquidity. We will go live with supercharged pools which are equivalent to Uni V3 pools.
  • Kucoin & Bitget are expected to go live first with migration.
  • AscendEX will start staking from CEX so users will be able to earn staking rewards by staking their tokens directly from AscendEx.

That’s a wrap for the first edition of Router Monthly Rewind! July has been a busy month for us, with a lot of exciting progress and milestones. From launching Router Chain on the mainnet to integrating with Osmosis, NEAR, and DogeChain, we’ve been working hard to enhance our cross-chain capabilities.

Our StakeDrop campaign is in full swing, offering a huge reward pool. Projects like StakeEase and FolioX are moving forward, and the launch of $ROUTE v2 on AscendEX Exchange marks another key development.
