Welcome to the October Edition of Router Monthly Rewind!

This past month was packed with significant developments across departments, including key chain integrations, dApp enhancements, and exciting new partnerships. From enhanced liquidity solutions to seamless user experiences, our journey toward a fully chain-abstracted future continues.

Let’s dive into October’s milestones.

Key Highlights

  • Single Asset Farms: Live Now! Provide liquidity in ETH, USDC, and USDT on Router Nitro and start earning rewards.
  • 400,000+ Unique Users: Router Nitro surpassed 400k unique users, marking a major milestone in user adoption.
  • Router’s Roadmap: Shared our comprehensive Six-Month Roadmap, laying out the next critical steps in Router’s journey toward building a fully chain-abstracted future.

Router Chain Updates

Integrations and Updates:

  • Forwarder Lite: A new version of forwarder that is much more optimized for completing transactions on the destination chain faster. We expect the time taken on average to reduce from 25 sec to 15 sec.
  • TronNRG Integration: Successfully completed, with stability testing. This integration will help us to rent Tron energy on the fly and hence, optimize the cost of transaction execution on Tron.
  • IBC Packets: Gateway contract updated for proper handling of timed-out packets.
  • Casper Chain Integration: Development completed within the orchestrator service. We will begin development on the relayer and forwarder to support Casper.
  • Solana Testing: Testing for Solana integration has been completed and it is now ready for launch on Mainnet.
  • Self Chain Integration: Self chain integration has been completed along with the audit. The chain will soon go live on our public mainnet. This integration again adds another capability to Router’s bridging as Self chain is a cosmos chain that doesn’t allow contract development. We have used IBC plus Router chain’s middleware to make the Self token omnichain.
  • Pentagon Chain Integration: Added to Router Testnet.
  • Matchain Meme Coins: Deployed on mainnet, along with a pair on Oasis Sapphire chain.
  • Alloyed Tokens: AVAIL and BTC tokens deployed on Osmosis. AVAIL can be moved between Ethereum and Osmosis, with Router minting the token on Osmosis. While rBTC from Rootstock has been added to the alloyed BTC on Osmosis.

Statistics

  • Over 9 Million ROUTE v2 Tokens Burnt, approximately 0.9% of the total supply. Now, 100% of Router Nitro’s revenue will be used to buy back and burn ROUTE tokens
  • Staking is on with the StakeDrop Campaign, 451M+ $ROUTE have been staked till now.

Router Nitro Updates

Integrations and Updates:

  • Single Asset Liquidity Farms: Introduced single-asset liquidity farms, including ETH, USDC, and USDT, where users can earn rewards.
  • ON Keeper Wallet and TokenPocket Integration: Completed. By integrating the wallets into Router Nitro, wallet users can now seamlessly connect their wallets directly within the Nitro dApp.
  • HypeLab Integration: Completed. HypeLab is one of the fastest-growing Web3 ad networks. Users can now see ads running on Router Nitro, powered by HypeLabs’ SDKs.
  • DEX Integration: Completed for PathFinder on Matchain. Users can leverage Nitro to start their journey in the Matchain ecosystem and enjoy cross-chain asset transfers for $USDT, $USDC, and $WETH between Matchain and over 30 EVM and non-EVM chains.
  • Wallet Integrations: Completed for Into Wallet and TokenPocket for EVM chains.
  • Propeller Swap: Integrated for Ethereum; ongoing changes in beta mainnet.
  • Solana Integration: Testing completed for Nitro Explorer.
  • Enso Finance: Integrated Enso Finance to enhance routing capabilities and provide access to more assets for seamless swaps and DeFi abilities across multiple blockchains.
  • 4th Pillar: Router Chain’s burn-and-mint mechanism will enable seamless cross-chain transfers for 4th Pillar’s token, $FOUR, from Ethereum to Oasis Sapphire chain.

Cross-chain Intent Framework (CCIF) Updates

Adapter Integrations and Updates:

  • Everclear Rebalancer Integration: Completed. This is to enhance liquidity rebalancing processes, making operations faster and more efficient while drastically cutting costs for liquidity providers.
  • Osmosis Intent Contracts: Completed. With this, Router Intents are finally tapping into Cosmos ecosystem to bring chain abstraction.
  • Parifi Backend Integration: Completed. Adapter for providing liquidity from any chain or token on Parifi, an AMM operating on Arbitrum.
  • Milkyway Adapter: Deployed and end-to-end testing on Osmosis mainnet completed. Staking Adapter for Milkyway, allowing asset holders to deposit various tokens including LSTs from various chains!
  • Skip Protocol Integration: Completed.
  • UltraETH (Affine) Adapters: Integrated.
  • Nuri Backend Integration: Completed. Adapter for providing liquidity from any chain or token on Nuri, an AMM operating on Scroll. Try here.
  • Cross-chain Domain Minting Adapters: Completed.
  • Scribe Adapter Contracts: Completed.
  • Nitro Asset Bridge: Integrated into forwarder rebalancing.

Statistics:

  • StakeStone: On StakeStone adapter around 54000+ transactions have processed $17.2M+ in volume

Ecosystem Projects Update

  • FolioX: Tagzz is integrated with Router Protocol’s offerings, including our cross-chain bridge, Router Nitro, and all the Intent Adapters! Mint your Tagzz multi-chain name here.
  • StakeEase: StakeEase now supports the Korean language, making it easier for native speakers to use the platform. More languages are on the way as we work to make it accessible for everyone!

$ROUTE Updates

This month’s developments represent significant progress for Router Protocol, from improving liquidity solutions to enhancing cross-chain interactions. Stay tuned as we continue our mission to build a fully chain-abstracted future.
