As 2022 winds down, it’s a good time to take stock of all that has been accomplished. This is a great opportunity to highlight the significant progress and landmarks reached by our team.

Here are some of the top moments from the Year 2022:

January

  • Router Protocol launched Alpha Mainnet with BSC and Polygon chains.
  • Extended the vesting time frame for $ROUTE tokenomics by 4x across key categories.

February

  • Saw the listing of $ROUTE on MEXC.

March

  • We released the highly anticipated Router Widget.
  • Integration of the Avalanche, Ethereum, and Fantom blockchains into Router Protocol’s infrastructure.

April

  • Arbitrum and Optimism blockchains were added into the Router’s ecosystem, apart from the existing supported networks.
  • Ramani Ramachandran, CEO of Router, was on the judging panel at ETHAmsterdam.
  • A hackathon was held within the company at Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.

May

  • First ever Voyage campaign from Router went live.
  • CrossTalk, a platform for integrating cross-chain functionality into other web3 dApps, went live.

June

  • Listing of $ROUTE on Tier 1 exchange- Huobi.
  • Voyager, the flagship cross-chain bridging decentralized application of Router Protocol, was released.
  • Integration of Cronos Blockchain into Router’s Ecosystem.
  • Router was featured by Messari- top data analytics and research company.

July

  • The Router Protocol’s JS SDK and the corresponding Pathfinder API were released.
  • The router crew was present at ETHNewYork.
  • Ramani Ramachandran, CEO of Router, spoke at a NASDAQ-sponsored event live from Times Square.

August

  • Voyager, one of the most prominent decentralized applications, reached a new milestone of 500 million in transaction volume.
  • Integration of the Kava blockchain.
  • Router was one of the sponsors at CoinDCX’s Unfold 2022 organized by Devfolio.

September

  • The router development team served as a mentor for hackers at ETHBerlin.
  • Marco Polo update for Voyager.
  • Introducing the Aurora network to the Router’s cross-chain infrastructure.
  • Router team was at Messari Mainnet 2022 held in New York.
  • The company also welcomed Venkatesh Mankena as its Chief Blockchain Architect.
  • Router Protocol was a Gold Partner at Token2049.

October

  • Attained a major benchmark as Router surpassed the 50-partner mark.
  • Router team was one of the speakers at Devcon, Bogota.
  • Router team was at Blockchain Economy, Dubai
  • The Router team attended Gitex Global, and its CEO, Ramani Ramachandran, spoke there as well.
  • Router team was at World Blockchain Summit, Dubai held at Atlantis.

November

  • Router Protocol made cross-chain NFTs a reality through CrossTalk.
  • Voyager completed 100,000 transactions.
  • Router team was invited as a speaker at Web3 Dubai.
  • Router team was at Lisbon Blockchain Month and NFT London.
  • Router hosted Zero to dApp contest, a side event to ETHIndia.

December

  • Integration of USDC and Circle, making USDC interoperable through Router Protocol.
  • Router organized #Web3HackDays Hackathon along with Reef.
  • Router Protocol was a proud sponsor of the biggest Hackathon- ETHIndia and we saw presence of Router team at 20+ side events.

We’d want to take this opportunity to thank everyone on the team and in the community who has helped Router succeed this year, despite it being a challenging year for the industry as a whole.
