Cross-Chain Transfers Made Effortless Across 35+ Chains

It’s been almost a year since the inception of Router Nitro. What began as a vision to make cross-chain transfers intuitive and pain-free has evolved into an intent-powered primitive that makes all kinds of cross-chain actions frictionless. While Nitro is often synonymous with seamless bridging, it’s also one of the few bridges that brings cross-chain intents — like staking and liquidity provisioning — to life.

But standing still isn’t in our DNA. So, as a belated New Year’s gift (yes, it still counts), we’re thrilled to introduce the all-new Router Nitro UI. Built with the speed you expect, the efficiency you need, and a UX so smooth it feels like butter, this UI doesn’t just raise the bar — it sets a new one. Try it out here.

A Leap Forward

We didn’t just build a UI; we built an experience. This is more than an upgrade — it’s a love letter to simplicity, speed, and the idea that Web 3.0 shouldn’t feel like solving a Rubik’s Cube blindfolded. By now, most of you have already had a sneak peek (thanks to our overly excited intern who pushed the code to production a bit too soon). And judging by your rave reviews of the UI’s sleek design and seamless functionality, we knew we were onto something. But trust us — this full rollout takes things to a whole new level.

What’s New in the Nitro UI?

There’s so much packed into this upgrade that if we tried to list it all here, you’d still be reading tomorrow. So, we’ll keep it brief for now and roll out more content soon to dive deeper into what makes each of these features a true game changer.

Auto Refuel

No gas? No problem. Nitro now intelligently detects when your native funds on the destination chain are low and automatically tops up your gas — saving you time and hassle.

Smarter Token Selection

In the earlier Nitro UI, users had to manually select their source and destination chains and then a token corresponding to those chains. With the new Nitro UI, token selection is designed to feel intuitive and familiar, resembling a standard DEX swap experience. Users can directly search for their token like “USDC on Base” or just “USDC Base”, and our token selection module will show it to you on the top.

Multiple Wallet Connections

Thanks to the integration of Router’s very own Tangled SDK, the new Nitro lets you seamlessly connect multiple wallets spanning different networks including but not limited to EVM-based chains, Solana, Sui, Tron, Osmosis. This feature simplifies the process of managing assets and signing cross-chain transactions across multiple chains.

Multi-Chain Gas Send Feature

Managing native tokens across multiple chains can be a headache — but not anymore. As the name rightly suggests, Nitro’s multi-chain gas send feature allows you to send gas tokens to multiple chains in one go. Yes, it’s that effortless.

50% Faster Withdrawals

On rare occasions, transactions can get stuck on the bridge due to issues like destination chain RPC errors or sudden gas price spikes. Previously, users had to wait 6 hours after the transaction timestamp to withdraw funds from the source chain. With the new Nitro, we’ve cut this time in half — to just 3 hours. And the best part? We’re already working to reduce it even further.

New User Dashboard

Transparency is key, and the new User Dashboard delivers just that. Now, you can easily view all the details of your past transactions as well as pending transactions, including amounts involved, source and destination chains, transaction hashes, and the time taken for each transaction. It’s your complete transaction history, presented in a clean, user-friendly interface, so you’re always in the know.

Discover Page

Looking to explore more? The new “Discover” page makes it easier to navigate the growing ecosystem of intent applications powered by Router Nitro. From staking to liquidity provisioning and beyond, you can view the list of all the supported applications and jump directly to them with a single click.

Why Does This Matter for You?

Let’s face it — cross-chain transfers can be a pain. High fees, slow processing times, and clunky interfaces have been the bane of every crypto user’s existence. With the new Nitro UI, we’re addressing these pain points head-on. Whether you’re an interop enthusiast, a trader, or a developer, these upgrades are designed to make your life easier.

  • For Developers: Tangled SDK to simplify the integration of multiple wallets and enhance user experience.
  • For Everyone: Faster withdrawals, auto refuels, and a sleek, intuitive interface that makes cross-chain transfers as easy as sharing a meme.

The Road Ahead

The new Nitro UI is a testament to our commitment to innovation and user-centric design. We’ve listened to your feedback over the past few months, fine-tuned every detail, and built a platform that’s as powerful as it is easy to use. But don’t worry, we’re not stopping here. We’ve got more features, integrations, and improvements lined up. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming next:

  • Router Pay: Imagine making transactions without needing wallet connections or approvals. With Router Pay, users can simply transfer assets to a dynamically created address (from any wallet or CEX of their choice) on the source chain and receive their desired asset on the destination chain.
  • Solana Swaps: Love meme coins? Soon, you’ll be able to buy your favorite meme coins on Solana using any token, from any chain.
  • Cross-chain swaps with Bitcoin as Source: We’re breaking barriers by enabling users to receive assets other than wBTC on the destination chain when initiating transactions from the Bitcoin network.
  • Even Faster Withdrawals: We’ve already halved withdrawal times, but we’re not stopping there. Our goal is to bring it down to just one hour, making Nitro one of the fastest cross-chain solutions in the space.

Stay tuned and follow us on our socials to make sure you don’t miss out on any updates.
